I designed the Maldives retreat because I believed a journey of recovery did not have to be tied to deprivation or austerity. In many traditional retreat programmes the focus is on drawing emotions out through a harsh or very simple environment, while my vision was entirely different.
I wanted participants to live an experience that held luxury and depth at once. Five-star accommodation, the most beautiful activities and experiences, and spaces that give the nervous system a sense of safety and comfort — because when a person feels safe, they become more able to relax, to let go, and to release what they carry within.
The retreat was designed in gradual stages, so that each day carried a different intention within the journey of recovery, moving the participant step by step through an integrated and considered experience.
Meditation was the foundational tool the retreat was built upon, alongside private sessions for each participant as an added service, to ensure a personal and deep experience suited to their needs.
The experiences varied between meditations on the open water, meditations on the shore with the sound of the waves, and workshops held inside a private studio reserved exclusively for our group, to provide a safe and quiet space that allowed full focus on the inner journey.
The Maldives retreat was not simply a luxurious holiday; it was an experience carefully designed so that outer beauty and inner transformation could meet, in an environment that gave the body rest and gave the soul the space it needed to heal.
Workshops, meditation experiences, ThetaHealing sessions, private guidance, and retreats are intended for personal awareness and development. They are not substitutes for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment.
